June brought another successful Fix! I requested Stephanie again in my note. This time, I asked her to send me some great summer tops in fun colors and prints; she didn’t disappoint. Here’s a little rundown:
Item #1: Daniel Rainn Bilson Pleated Blouse – $68
This gorgeous peach and cornflower blue floral blouse was the first thing I saw when I opened my Fix. I was SOOOO excited! The floral is sooo beautiful, the picture doesn’t even do it justice. Unfortunately I was not thrilled with the fit of this blouse on me… it looked a little bit matronly. I swear I could cry. If only this shirt fit better… oh well!

Item #2: 19 Cooper Rover Abstract Print Zip Back Blouse – $58
This top yielded the complete opposite reaction as the first; when I first took it out of the box I was disappointed. The print was not something I’d usually be drawn to. The colors were very muted and the print relatively small… I thought for sure this would be going back. However, the fit on this top was PERFECT. It looked great with my House of Harlow necklace and could work for work under a blazer. I ended up really liking this one!
Status: KEPT!!!
Item #3: Tart Maliah Striped Tee – $54
This tee is SO soft. It was very light and perfect for summer. I threw it on with the same House of Harlow necklace and black blazer as the last shirt. Though I liked this top, I thought it was too expensive for just a simple tee, so I sent it back.

Item #4: Market & Spruce Ohara Faux Wrap Tie-Waist Dress
Apparently Stephanie knows my style better than I do. I snuck a peek at this Fix once I got my tracking info (for directions on how to get a sneak peek, see below!) When I saw this dress I immediately dismissed it. Normally, I am not a fan of wrap dresses, nor am I a fan of 3/4 length sleeves. However, I am apparently wrong. I loved this dress. It, like the Tart tee, is SO soft. I feel like I am not wearing anything at all. I plan on wearing this to work with a camisole underneath: Perfection.
Status: Kept
Item #5: Henry & Belle Abana Ankle Length Skinny Jean – $148
OK, so here are the plusses: These jeans were in an AMAZING color…. though it is hard to tell in the picture, they are an awesome shade of greenish-grey…. perfectly neutral and yet unique. The negatives: Could these be any tighter? Trust me, I like skinny jeans… but these things were practically painted on me. In addition, I could simply not justify spending $148 on a pair of jeans that couldn’t be worn MULTIPLE days in a row (oh don’t lie…. you do it, too….)

Thank you for all your detailed reviews! New to Stitch Fix here and expecting my first box in June (yay!!). Quick question though … I linked my Pinterest board to my profile, just by simple copy and paste. It’s just called “styles I love”. Are we supposed to do it differently? Just wondering if there was a specific type of board or board name or something… And couldn’t find the answer on the website.
Thanks again for your reviews! Very helpful.

I used copy/paste, too! Just make sure you are on the board and not on your full Pinterest site 🙂

I don’t have the link to see my sneak peek. I guess I’ll have to wait until I get home from work today.

It’s easy to miss! Somewhere on your email it should say “already received your Fix? Check out!” It’s tiny print! Or you can just wait and be surprised, which is also fun!
